What Services Are Available?
Skilled Nursing:
Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to assist with all nursing needs, including teaching, observation, and skilled nursing procedures.
Home Health Aide:
An aide may assist with personal care and homemaking needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Physical Therapy:
A licensed Physical Therapist may establish a program of therapeutic exercises and instruct in the proper use of medical equipment and assistive devices.
Medical Social Work::
A Social Worker can visit with the patient and family to assist with problems related to care at home and to coordinate essential community services.
Speech Therapy:
A Certified Speech Pathologist may assist with a program of speech and language instruction to improve and restore communicative skills which may have been lost due to disease or accident.
Occupational Therapy:
A Registered Occupational Therapist may assist in the restoration of functional abilities such as feeding, grooming, dressing, and homemaking, as well as recreation and vocational skills.
Medical Supplies And Equipment::
If the patient doesn’t have a particular choice, Alpha Home Health Services will coordinate medical equipment and supplies as necessary to meet the patient’s treatment goals with their approval. These items may include such things as a hospital bed, wheelchair, commode, walker, crutches, cane, oxygen, breathing equipment, dressings, underpads, and may other items.
